The Official State Gazette (BOE) has announced the distribution of the monkfish quota from zone 7 of ICES (ANF/07) in an exchange with Belgium. The transaction involved Spain ceding certain stocks to Belgium in return for 184 tons of monkfish from the ANF/07 stock, which will be distributed among the Spanish fleet. The stocks relinquished included eight tons of Norway lobster from the NEP/07 stock, one ton of Norway lobster from the NEP/8ABDE stock, one ton of whiting from the WHG/08 stock, and 100 tons of megrim from the LEZ/07 stock.
