The Central Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives is leading the creation of a vibrant consumption atmosphere by countering the decline in seafood prices. Each month, they select a type of seafood to promote consumption, organizing special meals for employees and sales events. In response to the late summer heat, the Federation has chosen wild Pacific cod as the seafood to promote this month, as it is a summer tonic food rich in protein. On August 27, the Central Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives held a tasting event at its headquarters cafeteria, using wild Pacific cod provided by Hanlim Fisheries Cooperative, for employees of the Federation and the bank.
