The cost of turkey in Russia is stabilizing

The price of turkey after a long period of growth has stabilized and started to decline. The average cost of turkey meat from November 14 to 20 decreased by 0.24% to 242 rubles per kg compared to the previous week. Izvestia writes about this with reference to monitoring data from the National Association of Turkey Producers (NAPI). The publication's source among market participants predicts that by the end of the year the cost of a turkey may fall by 5-10% compared to current prices. The price of the main cuts has stabilized: thus, the cost of breast fillet has remained at the level of 316 rubles/kg for the third week, although it has been continuously rising in price since the beginning of September, the cost of thigh fillet has been 329 rubles/kg for the second week, before that, the growth was recorded from the end of July.
