Canada has authorized six new Brazilian states to export boneless and matured beef, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. The states of Acre, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Rondônia, 14 municipalities of Amazonas, and five of Mato Grosso can now export beef to Canada. This decision comes after Canada approved beef imports from regions recognized as free of foot-and-mouth disease without vaccination by the World Organization for Animal Health, marking a significant milestone for the Brazilian agricultural sector.
