The European Union experienced a significant shift in its apple market in October 2022, with a notable 11% increase in exports and a substantial 42% decrease in imports compared to the same period last year. Exports totaled over 117,200 tons, contrasting with 105,400 tons from the previous year, while imports dropped to 13,700 tons from 24,000 tons. This change is anticipated to drive up apple prices within the EU, indicating a potential stable rise in the market.
