Since the beginning of July, the EU countries have imported more than 510 thousand tons of palm oil (-42.9% compared to the same period last year) - almost 90% of supplies come from five key exporting countries. Such data are provided by analysts of the European Commission in their monitoring. It is noted that Indonesia became the main supplier of "palms" to the EU during the reporting period, exports from this direction amounted to over 162.95 thousand tons in the period from July 1 to August 21.
This is 31.9% of the total number of shipments against 30.5% according to the results of the previous monitoring.
