The Director General of the Export and Import Regulations Office of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade in Iran, Saeed Abbaspour, has announced that the export of tomato paste will be permitted until the end of January 2021, as requested by producers. The export will adhere to the set regulations and will be limited to aseptic paste, which is stored in special bags for two to three years and is not meant for domestic consumption. This decision aims to benefit both the producers and the government by allowing the country to earn more currency through exports, while also ensuring customer protection and preventing interruptions in sales.
