Along these lines, a delegation of companies from Murcia associated with Proexport has organized a trade mission to the East Coast in which they have held meetings with importers, distributors and officials from the US Department of Agriculture and the Spanish Embassy in Washington. The commercial mission organized by the Association of Producers-Exporters of Fruit and Vegetables of the Region of Murcia, Proexport and subsidized by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, has had an exploratory character of the market, and has been led by the vice president of the Association, Juan López, and by its general director, Fernando Gómez.
