On Friday, October 17, 2025, at the close of trading, the wheat complex was mostly traded higher. December soft red winter wheat futures on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) rose to $185.09 per ton, December hard red winter wheat futures on the Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBT) in Kansas City rose to $180.59 per ton, and December hard red spring wheat futures on the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX) in Minneapolis fell to $201.90 per ton. December SRW futures in Chicago closed at $5.03-3/4, up 1 ¼ cents, March futures closed at $5.20-1/4, up 1 ½ cents. December HRW futures in Kansas City closed at $4.91-1/2, up 2 ¾ cents, March futures closed at $5.11, up 2 cents. December spring wheat futures on the MGEX in Minneapolis closed at $5.49-1/2, down 1 cent, March spring wheat futures on the MGEX closed at $5.69-1/2, down ½ cent.
