The government of Russia introduced a temporary ban on sugar exports

The Russian Cabinet of Ministers has imposed a ban on the export of sugar to protect the stability of the domestic food market. However, this ban will not affect the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries, including Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. These countries will be allowed to import limited quantities of Russian sugar, with quotas set at 28 thousand tons for Armenia, 5 thousand tons for Belarus, 120 thousand tons for Kazakhstan, and 28.5 thousand tons for Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Agriculture will oversee the distribution of these quotas for international trade transactions.
