The yerba mate conflict will have a new chapter today, involving a complaint against President Javier Milei in the national Justice system. Following a symbolic embrace of the National Yerba Mate Institute (INYM) at its official headquarters in Posadas, producers, cooperatives, and yerba mate associations will sign an adhesion to a precautionary measure, which will be presented before the National Criminal and Correctional Court number 2 in the City of Buenos Aires, with the aim of achieving the restitution of powers that allow the regulation of the price of this raw material, among other issues.
