The INPULSE Operational Group is working to promote the cultivation of legumes for animal feed in Spain, in response to the need to reduce external dependence on protein sources and diversify the supply chain. The group aims to develop a mechanism to promote the use of Spanish legumes, such as broad beans, soybeans, and peas, and agrees on a common protocol for testing varieties. The group also plans to present their project at a conference in Madrid on February 15. The group includes members from various agricultural organizations and research centers.
