The Murcian table grape certifies its suitability for export to South Africa, Hong Kong, or Canada

Inspectors from the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries are checking batches of table grapes intended for sale to third countries with the aim of verifying that the product is in perfect phytosanitary condition and certifying the absence of pests and diseases. A requirement that producers in the Region need to be able to export this fruit to countries outside the European Union, according to sources from the Murcian Government. In addition, the Community must certify that the production area, the Region of Murcia, is free of certain pathogens, as reported by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Francisco González Zapater, during his visit to Frutas Maripi, a company of the Uniland group, where technicians from his department are carrying out these controls.
