Argentina has received approval from the Philippines to export poultry, pork, and new beef products, including beef with bone, offal, and fat. This approval, a result of joint efforts between Argentina's Secretariat of Agriculture and SENASA, recognizes the equivalence of the Argentine control and certification system. The process involves a 15-day market opening for technical evaluations and allows for the authorization of new Argentine establishments. The decision follows intensive negotiations and inspections by the Philippine delegations, as the Philippines imported over USD 1.75 billion worth of meat and by-products in 2023.
