The number of grain exporting companies and buyer countries for Russian grain has decreased this year, with only 20-15 companies left and contracts made with 40 countries compared to 90 last season. Iran has reduced its purchases by 38%, while Egypt's purchases have increased by 26%. Turkey has reduced its purchases by 55%. There is a positive trend in increasing shipments to Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Libya, with Pakistan and Syria also increasing their purchases. However, Russia is not able to supply grain to numerous African countries due to logistics issues and export restrictions.
