Ecuador will be representing seven companies at the Biofach fair in Germany, showcasing their organic products, with a focus on soursop. The organic soursop industry in Ecuador has seen significant growth, expanding by 400% over the past decade, occupying over 1,500 hectares and providing employment for over 5,000 people. The soursop variety grown in Ecuador is particularly preferred by foreign buyers due to its high sugar content, ranging from 16 to 18 degrees brix.
