The Seongsan Ilchulbong Agricultural Cooperative has made its first shipment of this year's Jeju winter radishes to the United States.

Jeju Seongsan Ilchulbong Agricultural Cooperative (Chairman Park Myeong-jong) carried out the first shipment operation for the export of this year's Jeju winter radishes to the United States over two days, from December 12 to 13, at the Agricultural Product Distribution Center. Following the shipment of 40 tons on December 12, an additional 40 tons were exported on December 13, resulting in a total of 80 tons of Jeju winter radishes being sent to the United States over the two days. Prior to the export operation, the officials and employees of the Seongsan Ilchulbong Agricultural Cooperative visited the washing facilities and radish packing stations within the facility to inspect the cultivation status and the selection and packaging processes, and meticulously confirmed the quality and quantity of the export products. The export of winter radishes by the Seongsan Ilchulbong Agricultural Cooperative is being carried out by the NH Agricultural Economy Corporation, NH Agricultural Trade, aT Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, and the Korea Radish Export Corporation.
