The traditional reduction in cheese prices in Ukraine is not forecast

The cheese trade in Ukraine is still active. A significant seasonal decline in demand is postponed to July. This was reported by Infagro, writes agronews.ua. It seems that this year there will be no traditional reduction in cheese prices, too high production costs. But promo tools will be used more often. After some decline, the export price of the cheese product also stabilized. Including due to low prices, exports of cheese products are declining. In May, goods were sold 20% less than in April (1.5 thousand tons). The figure in June will be even more modest. Exports of processed cheese to Iraq have stopped growing. In May, deliveries decreased by a third, to 550 tons. But sales of real semi-hard cheese even increased slightly. In May, 400 tons were exported.
