From August 1, 2021, to July 31, 2022, Turkey's Malatya province exported 80,720 tons of dried apricots to 113 countries, generating $375 million in revenue. The United States was the leading importer. Dried apricots make up 85% of the world market and provide income for 50,000 households. Despite a decrease in exports, revenue increased by about $35 million. The United States is the main market for Turkish dried apricots.
