Kuzbass, Russia's leading agricultural region, has achieved 43% of its export target for the year, with a total of USD 113.8 million in exports as of June 7, 2021. The region, which exports to over 40 countries, has seen increased demand for its agricultural products such as rapeseed, oats, buckwheat, and flax seeds, and food products like chocolate and pasta. A new measure introduced last year provides financial support to agricultural producers, contributing to the increase in rapeseed exports. Additionally, the export of strong alcoholic beverages has also seen a significant rise. This is in line with the national project 'International cooperation and export's goal to annually increase export volumes, with support provided to producers.
