The District Prosecutor's Office in Świdnica is conducting proceedings in the case of the destruction of wheat crops belonging to the brothers Bartosz and Przemysław Podkówkowie. In an interview with the editorial office of Farmer, the spokesperson for the prosecutor's office confirms: legal proceedings are ongoing, and the collected evidence is being analyzed. The destroyed area is approximately 200 hectares of wheat, and the losses amount to over 500 thousand PLN. The plants were burned. The investigation is being conducted in the direction of property destruction as well as destruction in the plant and animal world. The prosecutor's office does not rule out the use of the herbicide Roundup by the perpetrators. Currently, soil samples are being analyzed at the Poznań branch of PIORiN.
