This year, prices for peaches in Ukraine set an anti-record.

This season, peaches on the domestic market were cheaper than apricots, although usually it is the opposite, with a lot of imported peaches on the market. This was reported by Ksenia Guseva, an expert of the fruit and vegetable market of IA "APK-Inform," as reported by AgroTimes. According to her data, peaches were the cheapest in all years at 55-70 UAH/kg from the producer. For comparison: apricots were sold at 90-130 UAH/kg. Last year's average selling price for peaches was 50-80 UAH/kg, for apricots – 40-60 UAH/kg.
