From October 1, 2020, to March 15, 2021, Tunisia exported 81,800 tons of dates, valued at 535.8 million Tunisian dinars. This represents a slight year-on-year increase in export volume, but a decrease in prices due to increased competition and market instability from the epidemic. The top buyers of Tunisian dates were Morocco, Italy, France, and Germany, followed by Malaysia, Spain, Indonesia, Turkey, the United States, and Belgium.
