In July, Tunisia experienced a 23% increase in agricultural exports to Libya through Ras Jedir border crossing, totaling 3,727 tonnes. This surge was primarily driven by a 212% rise in watermelon exports. However, the export of grapes, tomatoes, and almonds saw a decline of 72%, 63%, and 59% respectively due to higher local prices in Libya. The prices of grapes, peaches, and plums at Bir Al Kasaa wholesale market also increased by 28%, 15%, and 14% respectively.
