Turkey earned 8.2 million dollars from anchovy exports

Anchovy exports from Turkey in the 2021-2022 hunting season increased by 23 percent compared to the previous season and reached 8 million 267 thousand 741 dollars. According to the AA reporter's compilation from the Eastern Black Sea Exporters' Association (DKİB), 1751 tons of anchovy were exported to 28 countries during the aquaculture hunting season that started on September 1, 2021 and ended on April 15, 2022. A revenue of 8 million 267 thousand 741 dollars was obtained from the said foreign sale. Accordingly, exports increased by 32 percent in quantity and 23 percent in value compared to the previous season, which earned 6 million 733 thousand 879 dollars in return for 1328 tons of anchovy. France, Belgium and Germany were the countries that exported the most anchovies.
