Turkey is a major producer and exporter of pistachios, with a production forecast to hit 400,000 tons in 2024. The country's pistachios are available in various forms and colors, catering to a wide range of applications in the food industry. Owing to their unique flavors and health benefits, these pistachios are gaining popularity in China, especially among consumers in major cities. In 2023, Yuyang Food (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. emerged as the leading importer of Turkish pistachios, accounting for over 65% of the country's total imports, indicating a strong demand for these nuts in China.
