In 2021, 111-112 outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF) were reported in pigs, with the latest outbreaks identified on October 13, 2021, in two farms in Poland. The first outbreak was reported in Nowy Dwór Bratiański, and the second in Tworzanki, both leading to the culling of several pigs and the implementation of disease eradication measures. These outbreaks are part of a series that have been detected since early October in different regions of Poland.
