The Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus has lifted temporary restrictions on the supply of pig products from two Russian enterprises in the Belgorod and Penza regions. The decision was based on health guarantees provided by Rosselkhoznadzor regarding African Swine Fever (ASF) areas and the companies' participation in federal laboratory testing programs. This move comes as Russian organizations have been increasing their export of pig products, with Belarus accounting for nearly half of the pork products supply in 2023.
