Ukraine and Poland are set to increase agricultural cooperation and trade, with Ukraine hoping that Poland will help ensure stable trade conditions with the EU after the end of Autonomous Trade Preferences in June. The focus is on aligning Ukrainian agricultural legislation with EU standards, and Poland has offered to share its experience in implementing technical regulations. The two countries also aim to expand markets and promote innovations in agriculture. There is potential for increased supply of organic products, protein feed, rapeseed, and soybean meal from Ukraine to Poland, meeting demand in the Polish market. Record agricultural trade between Ukraine and the EU is expected in 2024, with mutual trade reaching nearly $17 billion.
