Ukraine has seen a decline in egg and quail meat production due to reduced purchasing power and increased feed prices. Despite these challenges, the country has the potential to meet domestic demand and become a major global supplier of quail products. The industry includes about 560 companies, with 10 large-scale operations each holding 50-150 thousand heads of poultry. The sector's growth is hindered by the absence of government programs to support its development, unfair business practices by large retail chains, and low consumer purchasing power.
