Due to the Ukraine-Russia conflict, India is aiming to enhance its egg and poultry export industries by entering the UAE and Saudi Arabian markets, previously dominated by Ukraine. India has received approval to export poultry products to the UAE after lifting a five-year ban, committing to World Organization for Animal Health bio-safety standards. This strategy aims to offset the decline in Ukraine's egg production, which was a significant source of poultry items for Eastern and Central Europe. India's agri-business sector is experiencing a boost in the UAE, particularly in egg sales, and it also exports to countries like the Maldives, Oman, Japan, Vietnam, and Russia.
