Ukraine expanded the export of chilled beef

From January to November 2023, Ukraine exported 16.05 thousand tons of cattle (cattle) in live weight, which is 5% less than last year. Financial income from the sale of these animals decreased by 24% and amounted to 25.23 million dollars. This information was provided by the Association of Milk Producers, referring to the data of the State Statistics Service. In November, 583 tons of cattle in live weight were exported, which is 20% less compared to October, for the amount of 816 thousand dollars (also 20% less). The main buyer of cows was Lebanon. During the same period, Ukraine exported 225.8 tons of chilled beef, which is 86% more than in January-November 2022. The total income amounted to 836 thousand dollars, which is 79% more compared to the same period last year. In November, the volume of chilled beef exports increased by 50% to 33.8 tons, and the income increased to 120.1 thousand dollars (by 49%).
