Ukraine has been allocated a quota for commercial fishing in the Atlantic Ocean for 2023

According to the results of the 44th session of the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization (NAFO), Ukraine was allocated a national quota of 150 tons for catching sea bass in 2023. This was reported by the State Fisheries Agency. Industrial quotas for groups of Contracting Parties established under the article "Others" are also available for use: Atlantic cod, sea bass, yellowtail flounder, Atlantic long flounder, American white sole, stingray, squid. Their catch is carried out according to the Olympic principle, without allocation to national quotas. The State Fisheries Agency invites interested business entities to participate in fishing in the waters of the northwestern part of the Atlantic Ocean.
