Ukraine has seen a significant increase in revenue from fruit and berry exports to Germany in the first three quarters of 2021, with a 71% increase compared to 2020, reaching a record $15.7 million. This growth is primarily due to a 3.3-fold increase in the export of frozen raspberries, which brought in $5.7 million, and an 82% increase in the export of wild berries, such as blueberries and other wildflowers. While there was an increase in the export of walnuts, revenue from other exports like fresh raspberries, edible chestnuts, and fresh cherries were in small quantities. Ukraine has also seen an increase in exports to other EU markets, including Poland, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Austria. The top eight EU countries account for 72% of Ukraine's total fruit exports.
