Ukraine is experiencing a boost in raspberry exports, ranking second globally in absolute growth over the past five years and leading in relative growth among the top 10 net exporters. Despite currently holding a 3% share of the global market, the country is aiming to climb further. However, competition from established exporters like Serbia, Poland, Chile, and China, as well as emerging markets like the US and Canada, presents challenges. Ukraine's relationship with Poland, its main competitor and re-export hub, is complex, with potential opportunities for direct exports to enhance Ukraine's position in the labor market. To succeed, Ukraine must improve raspberry yield and quality and increase export volumes.
