From January to July 2020, Ukraine saw a significant increase in the export of live sheep and goats, with a 50% rise compared to the same period in the previous year, totaling 21.65 thousand. The country also experienced a 65% increase in export revenue, reaching $ 1.4 million. The main importers were Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Turkey, accounting for 48.6%, 20.3%, and 15.5% of the exports respectively. Throughout the same period, Ukraine did not import any live sheep or goats.
