The war and its negative impact have caused Ukraine's pasta export to decrease by more than half, resulting in the country dropping to 47th place in the world ranking. In January-June 2023, Ukraine exported around 10,000 tons of pasta worth $23 million, with Germany, Romania, and Moldova being the largest buyers. The Ukrainian Association of Agrarian Export advises producers to focus on quality and seek new partners in order to maximize opportunities in the global market.
