Ukraine has been allocated a national quota of 150 tons for sea bass in the Atlantic Ocean for 2023, as per the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food. The country also has access to industrial quotas for other underwater species. The State Fisheries Agency is encouraging interested economic entities to participate in fishing in the northwestern Atlantic Ocean. In 2021, Ukraine saw a 28.6% increase in fish and seafood imports, reaching $874.501 million, and a 35.5% increase in exports, amounting to $57.194 million.
