Ukraine to export popular fruit to Canada

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has approved a program for the export of fresh apples from Ukraine to Canada. Thus, Ukrainian apple producers have received new opportunities for export to the Canadian market, the press service of the State Food and Consumer Protection Service reports. It is noted that Canada has already updated import requirements for Ukraine in its Automated Import Reference System (AIRS) and approved the Program for the Export of Ukrainian Apples (Malus domestica) to Canada. According to the report, apple growers, packing companies and exporters must be registered with the State Food and Consumer Protection Service and included in the List of Exporters, Producers and Packers of Ukrainian Apples to Canada.
