Ukraine will not repeat Turkey's success in processing grain into flour

Turkey not only processes Ukrainian wheat into flour, it mixes Ukrainian and Russian grain. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Taras Kachka at the "Ukrainian Grain Summit", reports Latifundist.com. It is noted that Ukraine exports up to 2 million tons of wheat to Turkey, while Russia, even with export duties, exports at least twice as much: about 4.2 million tons of wheat. According to the Deputy Minister, Ukraine will not be able to repeat Turkey's success in processing grain into flour and pasta. Under such a scheme, Ukraine would have to import 4 million tons of Russian wheat. “Therefore, it is difficult to imagine the development of events in which Ukraine would suddenly start importing Russian wheat in such quantities… We have a certain triangle in the black circle, even a quadrangle.
