Until the end of January, 775,300 tons of olive oil had been obtained in Spain, according to the latest data published by the Ministry of Agriculture. This figure is already somewhat above the latest estimates that were being used and we will still have to add the less significant quantities that are produced until April-May. The last balance prepared by the Ministry, which dates back to October 2023, at the beginning of the campaign, pointed to a volume of 766,000 tons. The quantity milled until the end of January is slightly more than 100,000 tons higher than the volume obtained in the last campaign, which stood at only 665,800 tons, although it is still very short compared to a normal campaign.
