According to the weekly report of the National Institute of Meats (INAC), with information accumulated as of November 29, the meat sector reached a total billing of 2,918.827 million dollars, representing a growth of 23.8% compared to 2024, which was 2,358.627 million dollars. This leap contrasts with the previous stability, as in 2024 the sector barely registered a slight negative variation of -0.2% compared to 2023. This growth was not driven by an increase in the volume exported, but by a strong recovery in the average price per ton. The total volume exported of all products in the sector remained at 621,596 tons of shipment weight in 2025, which is slightly lower than the 632,755 of 2024. However, the average price escalated to US$ 4,696 per ton of shipment weight this year, soaring by 23.8% compared to the US$ 3,728 obtained in 2024.
