The U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council’s (USGBC’s) regional office in Latin America (LTA) recently engaged with pork industry leaders and nutritionists to share the value of U.S. distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS) in feed diets. USGBC Regional Programs and Special Projects Manager Sierra Richey, USGBC Marketing Specialist Diana Correa and USGBC Regional Consultant Carlos Maya represented the Council during the workshops held in Panama City, Panama. “The U.S. agricultural sector enjoys strong trade relations with Panama, but there remains significant room for expanded use of co-products in livestock feed. As the domestic industry in Panama grows, it is important to ensure end users are educated and familiar with practices and ingredients that can maximize performance and feed efficiency.
