Source: 3tres3.com Pork exports totaled 238,922 tons, down only 1% from the same period last year, while the value decreased by 4% to 680.9 million USD, mainly due to a 10% drop in pork variety meat prices caused by Chinese tariffs. In the first seven months of 2025, pork exports fell by 4% compared to last year's record levels, both in volume (1.69 million tons) and value (4.8 billion USD). July continued to be a favorable month for pork exports to the key market of Mexico, despite the export volume being much lower than the same period last year. Exports reached 92,524 tons, down 8% from last year, with a value of 228.4 million USD – a 7% decrease but still the second highest of the year (only behind the near-record level of June) and the sixth highest to date. In July, Mexico accounted for 10.9% of U.S. pork cuts, and from January to July, this increased from 10.6% in the same period last year.
