Kazakh cattle breeders are seeking permission to export pedigree cattle due to market limitations, as neighboring countries are willing to pay high prices for their genetic potential. The issue was discussed at the International Conference "Prospects for the development of livestock in Central Asia" during the EuroTier 2022 exhibition. In the next 2-2.5 weeks, a quota for the export of commercial livestock will be implemented, and the possibility of exporting pedigree cattle is under consideration. Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan have shown interest in importing Kazakh cattle to improve their livestock quality.
