The Sixth Senate of the Higher Regional Court (OLG) dismissed the appeal of the Nuremberg association against the first verdict, as a court spokeswoman subsequently announced. The Nuremberg plaintiffs had sued the butcher shop Franz Ostermeier, based in Geiselhöring, Lower Bavaria, because it has "mini-Rostbratwürstchen" in its assortment. The protection association sees this as a violation of the EU-wide protection of the geographical indication "Nürnberger Rostbratwürstchen".
