Vietnam aims to become a major ginseng producer by 2045 and has set a goal to develop its ginseng industry through a recently approved program. The program plans to increase the ginseng cultivation area, achieve 100% coverage of codes and geographical indicators, and produce about 300 tonnes of ginseng per year by 2030. The country will invest in ginseng processing facilities and prioritize the production of medicine, health products, cosmetics, and macrobiotics.
