According to preliminary statistics from the Customs Department, in December 2025, the entire country imported over 463 thousand tons of fertilizer, equivalent to 158.54 million USD, an increase of 29.2% in volume and 24.3% in value compared to November. Cumulatively for the entire year 2025, the country imported nearly 6.2 million tons of fertilizer, worth nearly 2.2 billion USD, an increase of 16.9% in volume and 26.6% in value compared to 2024. The average import price reached 354 USD/ton, an increase of 8%. In terms of the market, China is the largest fertilizer supplier to the country with nearly 3 million tons, equivalent to 1.06 billion USD, a sharp increase of 27% in volume and 44% in value compared to the same period in 2024.
