According to preliminary data compiled by Vietnam Customs, Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports in September 2025 are expected to reach nearly $1.3 billion, a 36% increase from $951 million in August and a 41% increase from $917 million in the same period of 2024. Dang Phuong Duong, Secretary General of the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association, said, "September's durian exports are expected to reach $800 million to $900 million, with nearly 90% of them going to China, which is undoubtedly a historic high." Earlier this year, durian faced a return crisis, but it is now making a remarkable return to the Chinese market.
