In the first half of 2021, Ukraine emerged as a major supplier of agri-food products to the European Union, accounting for 34% of the bloc's imports. The country exported large quantities of corn, wheat, meat, and legumes. However, there was a decrease in the supply of tropical fruits, nuts, spices, coffee, and tea. Since 2021, Ukraine has delivered 6.4 billion tons of grain to the EU. In 2020, Europe became the main importer of dairy products from Ukraine, buying 41.8% of all milk exports. Additionally, Ukraine exported 77.54 million tons of legumes, 66.29 million tons of honey, and over $238 million worth of fruits and berries in 2020.
